journey into the light

Return to the Light (part two)

15. All Are Children of the Light

The road of desire and suffering is long and few are willing to change, to surrender to the sadhana of the Great Ones, in whose thundering power liberation is achieved.

Those who travel the path of the avatars rise in the same blazing forces that released them. They were all once like you—they stumbled and struggled and rose in the Great Fire! Their lives were just like other men—all are children of the same light.

16. True Knowledge Will Appear

Never abandon the will to fight—everything is in the fire of your willingness to change. Be still in body, mind, and breath, and you will know what it means to rise.

The fight for liberation must become a way of life. With each pranayama the yogi reaches toward his goal—eventually his whole being will melt in a vast transparency and the body won’t matter anymore. Bathed in inner light, true knowledge will appear.

17. Path of True Living

When man is focused on the journey of each breath it won’t matter when the goal is reached—it will be a ripening of love and fire into a blazing world.

When each breath brings a sense of blossoming within the soul, this is the path of true living.

The world cannot reveal this. But by winning the battle of life, striving to overcome the body in the emerging fire of pranayama, rising through Kutastha, dissolving in a sea of light, all things can be known. Through ever-increasing communion and victorious living the Infinite will appear.

18. The Wind of Christ

When the yogi discovers a thundering force consuming his breath in waves, Aum dissolves the body revealing the throne of Christ, the searing power of Kutastha.

The billowing light flowing through the mortal form is the wind of Christ melting in all space.

19. No Further Karma Is Incurred

Expansion of the vital forces is the true state of a soul blazing with the Soul of the Universe—the living Christ-force. When in sanctity and grace the soul awakens, no further karma is incurred.

Evolving in the fire of pranayama, one day the unbroken state will be known. But until the breathless forces appear, like fish in water men do not know the hidden wonder that engulfs them.

20. Breath Begins to Fade

When in the transition from flesh to the inner vastness pranayama continues to intensify, breath begins to fade. As the external breath ceases, the internal forces sustain man.

In the stillness after Kriya—from the kinetic state of prana which sustains the body the suspended state appears. A blazing force consumes the body in waves. When surrender is deep and humility fills the void left by the vanishing ego a wondrous love remains.

Go, then, and do what you must, but never forget me. When I am the flame hidden in every moment, your heart will never be the same.

21. Opening the Realm of Light

The intensity of the blazing forces, is this what the Masters knew?

The Masters found a hidden passage unknown within. The fire that consumed them was the same fire, only with greater intensity—a tremendous blazing force electrifying the mortal form opening the realm of light.

Delusion cannot live in one who finds this. But the subtle transformations from identification with the body to the ocean of light within are a gradual process, depending on the life one lives according to the laws of Kriya-sadhana.

Yama-Niyama, the path of right living; Asana, mastery of the noble posture reaching for Kutastha; and increasing intensity in Pranayama, life force control, the path of Kriya Yoga, evolving to the breathless phase.

These are the initial steps of the Eight-Fold Path outlined by Patanjali centuries ago who recorded his discoveries as a guide for those who would follow. And though to this day his writings endure, all the subtleties of transcendence cannot be captured in analytical terms as food for the intellect.

What will appear are whispers from the Light, secrets revealed in the evolving depths of pranayama opening the world beyond breath. Those who pierce beyond the body will behold these silent revelations in the fire of their own transformation.

22. The Miracle of Dhyana

As the veil of matter disappears, the ascending force is beyond Pranayama. In Pratyahara, the interiorization of consciousness, the miracle of Dhyana begins. Not flowing inwardly from the external instruments but deep within the core of life itself, the causal sheath awakens thinly veiling the soul. The fire of pranayama is then no longer a subtle current ascending but a vast illumination of being—an inner dimension  flooded with light.

23. Pranayama Beyond Breath

In pure pranayama beyond breath, hidden streams gather into a thundering force. When with increasing intensity the body fades, only a sea of light will remain.

He who would rise must abandon everything in his quest for the ultimate fulfillment. As the Great Ones transformed their lives in the fire of intense sadhana, the unknown path of breathless pranayama was revealed to them—the hidden truth of those who rise.

Once the yogi has tasted this blazing power it is impossible to be at peace without it. In the greatest miracle of ascension the body disappears.

24. Once He Has Found This

The work of the yogi living in a physical world, once he has found this, is to continually reach for the light from which he descended.

As the magnet of outer living is constantly pulling the soul into the senses and the external dream-light of creation, every day must be given to the reversal of the outward flow of prana until unbroken communion is achieved.

25. The Yearning of the Heart

Any soul who tunes the heart to the breathless forces will find a blazing wind thundering within him.

Seizing the hidden power with the yearning of the heart—with great intensity the vital forces ignite! Rising beyond breath the soul is blazing with intoxication.

26. Humility

The peace of pranayama is not just an absence of restlessness and discord but a thundering power blazing within, the foundation of true humility, a state unknown to the ego.

Humility is the quiet expression of an inner beatitude by which the yogi beholds all true knowledge: that Aum is his body, his breath, and his life, thundering in the depths of an inner vastness.

Living in Aum, of him it can be said that he is a son of God.

27. Increasing Intensity

An avatar’s body is always thundering with Aum—his presence is healing to those around him.

For those in whom the interior world is blazing, the surrounding ether is blazing as well! Dissolving the veil of suffering in the transcendent power, increasing intensity is vital as each pranayama is the fire upon which the next wave will rise.

Strength into strength, fire into fire, a tremendous magnet builds!

28. Never Let It Fade

Never let this intensity fade through indifference or disuse—this is a great mistake!—but make Aum constant in your life. In those who reach this holy state there is no karma.

Aum is the passage to the Infinite. One who lives in Aum lives in Spirit; he knows the light of Christ in his life; he becomes this light!

29. To Be Pure

To be pure, absolutely pure, one must find the sacred power and rise beyond the earth. Those who live in Aum throughout life find there is no end. Through the evolution of pranayama, all the manifest states of ecstasy thunder within them—Kriya Yogis of the highest order!

30. Thundering Waters of True Baptism

Whatever the soul will know of Spirit appears in oneness with the guru through the Aum vibration where his silent eyes are watching.

Without merging in Aum it is impossible to know what it means to go beyond the body—to expand beyond form where the gross vibrations of material density vanish in the thundering waters of true baptism blazing with the hidden forces.

31. In Formless Winds of Light

It is not the physical body that will rise, but the power of consciousness within that form once tied to a narrow vision of life, filtered through the sensory mind and emotions—its desires and tendencies; its attachments and frustrations.

Once the power of consciousness is released from matter rising through Kutastha, it moves into another dimension blazing in the ether, expanding beyond form in formless winds of light, the vayu of liberation!

How perfect is the light that hovers in man as his life and consciousness, which goes undetected until the inner world ignites shedding the heaviness of bones and flesh, rising in the thundering forces.

32. The Trinity

The separation of the “Trinity,” the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, (Sat, Tat, Aum, of the Vedas) is not what it seems as if one could separate heat and light from the fire itself!

The Trinity is the manifestation of Spirit within and beyond creation, the subtle vibratory expression of Supreme Cosmic Mind in Its purest form as Cosmic Light and blissful Cosmic Love, the transcendent Christ and the thundering ecstasy of Aum, the true witness of the divinity of man.
